Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

• Account information — your email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up (directly or via Google sign-in).
• Profile & preferences — your chosen anonymous codename, avatar, and target company/role/level. Your real name is never displayed publicly.
• Practice content — interview transcripts, code submissions, scores, and feedback you generate while practicing, so we can show your history and progress.
• Usage & device data — basic analytics and error logs (e.g. pages visited, feature usage) to operate and improve the Service.
• Payment data — if you subscribe, billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles them under its own security and privacy terms.

• Provide, personalize, and improve the Service (e.g. tailoring practice to your target role and tracking your readiness over time).
• Process subscriptions and manage your account.
• Send transactional and optional reminder emails (you can turn reminders off in Settings).
• Monitor for abuse, enforce rate limits, and keep the Service secure and reliable.

We do not sell your personal information.

Practice sessions are powered by third-party AI providers (e.g. Amazon Bedrock and ElevenLabs for voice). The content you submit during a session is sent to these providers to generate questions, scoring, and audio. We do not use your private practice content to train public models.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, under contract:

• Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, AI inference)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• AI/voice providers used to deliver interview practice

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

We keep your account and practice data while your account is active. Free accounts may have limited history retention (e.g. recent solutions), while paid accounts retain their full archive. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

• Update your profile and preferences, or toggle reminder emails, in Settings.
• Manage or cancel your subscription via the billing portal in Settings.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, managed cloud infrastructure) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
